Proceeds from the Ilva Romano Memorial Gala will be used to provide financial assistance to individuals and families who are affected by ALS. These funds will be distributed by a committee comprised of the Ilva Romano Chapter of the University of Miami ALS Foundation. Any ALS patient seeking care at the Mark Kessenich MDA ALS Family Center is welcome to apply by writing a request letter to the University of Miami ALS Foundation or to the Ilva Romano Patient Care Fund c/o Rose McVeigh, 3960 Wood Avenue, Miami, FL 33133.
