Various Recyling Programs accept donated equipment and devices, if you no longer use it.

FAAST - FLORIDA ALLIANCE FOR ASSISTIVE SERVICES AND TECHNOLOGY
The Florida Alliance for Assistive Services and Technology (FAAST) is funded by the United States Department of Education, National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR). It was reauthorized by U.S. Public Law 103-218, 3(c), known at the "Tech Act". FAAST is sponsored by the Florida Department of Labor and Employment Security, and is administered through its Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.
The FAAST Recycled Product Matching Program (RPM) is a FREE public service to aid persons with disabilities, parents, families, and professionals locate recycled assistive technology. The program maintains a listing of both new and used assistive technology equipment available for sale or donation. Individuals may also list equipment they want to purchase.
Any assistive device that assists a person with a disability to complete a task is eligible for inclusion. The FAAST Recycled Product Matching Program will encompass equipment for persons with disabilities of all ages. Assistive technology equipment may include: communication devices, wheelchairs, vans with lifts, hand controls, computers, TTD's, etc.
Any device that treats medical conditions may not be included. Examples include: ventilators, oxygen tents, TENS units, etc.
Med-Sell is a resource for New & Previously Owned Medical Equipment, Assistive Devices & Services. This includes: wheelchair equipped vans, scooters, hospital beds, canes, walkers, Sleep Apnea machines, TENS units, ramps, hand controls, hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs, transfer benches, commodes, cushions, standing frames, stair glides, curb-siders,doctor's office equipment and hospital medical equipment.Has classified ads for hundreds of items of used medical equipment.
Wisent has an "After Therapy" Catalog that features over a hundred products for the physically challenged.
University of Iowa has a used Equipment Referral Service. They have a list of used or new medical equipment.
