Dr. Adam Boxer at the University of California San Francisco and Dr. Michael Benatar at the University of Miami hosted a one-day C9orf72 FTD/ALS Prevention Trial Workshop in June 2024 with the goal of discussing key elements needed to design a C9orf72 prevention clinical trial. More than 30 scientific experts attended the meeting from academia, biopharma, advocates, nonprofit organizations and the US Food and Drug Administration.
