Every year the ALS Recovery Fund (www.alsrecovery.org) hosts a 5K/10K Walk/Run to raise funds that support ALS patient care and research at the University of Miami ALS Center. The ALS Recovery Fund is a 501©(3) organization that is run entirely by volunteers, with all funds raised supporting ALS patients in the tri-county area. This annual event, currently in its 17th year, takes place on the Saturday before Mother’s Day in early May. The route takes participants through scenic Coconut Grove in Miami, Florida. We welcome you to join us for this fun event that supports a worthy cause in the South Florida community.
