- Participants affected with ALS or a related neurodegenerative disease
- Healthy controls
Study Purpose/Goals
To develop and validate biomarkers of ALS
Procedures/Participation
- 1/2-day study visits in Miami (# of visits may vary)
- Family and medical history review
- Collect blood, urine, and CSF fluid (CSF optional)
- Brain MRI
- Neurological exam
- Neuropsychological exam
- Breathing testing
- Fine motor skills testing
- Surveys
